In 1990, Kristin received her BBA in Business Management from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas.

In 2004, she received her MA in Communications Systems Management from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas where she currently teaches as a Lecturer in Communication. Her course load includes public speaking, desktop publishing, and graphics, layout & design.

Kristin has over ten years of experience in the Telecommunications industry working as a computer technician and later as an AIX Systems Administrator for Verizon (formerly GTE).

Kristin served on the board of the Humane Society of Tom Green County for three years and now serves in an advisory position. She has taken care of and has sponsored a feral cat colony for five years. Additionally, she created and maintains the website for the Humane Society.

She created the original websites for Get Healthy Texas and the Let's Eat websites for Community Hospital, and has created and maintains websites for Neil Snipes Counseling Services, Reflections Day Spa, The Gathering, and Brass @ ASU.

In 2008, Kristin was awarded with an ASU Rammy for Professor of the Year (2007-2008) of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts.

Kristin's hobbies include caring for animals, wind surfing, listening to Jazz, and playing the drums.
